Neighbourhoods of London: Masonville

CF Masonville Adds New Retailers Amid Increasing Mall ProductivityWelcome to Masonville! A thriving neighbourhood in the north end of London, Ontario, known for being one of the finest neighbourhoods in the city. Now a significant shopping district in the city, it was mostly rural farmland when it was acquired by the City of London in 1961. Currently, it has a population of 10,627 people.

The amenities in Masonville are endless, thanks to the mall and surrounding commercial area. This neighbourhood is one of the largest shopping districts in the city. You’ll find plenty of retail stores, dining and entertainment within a two-kilometre radius. Residents can head to the mall for all their essential shopping, or head over to the two other commercial plazas in the neighbourhood. You can also find plenty of dining options here, like The Keg Steakhouse, Beertown Public House, Jack Astors and so many more.

For residential homes, you can find large single family homes, small apartment buildings, condominiums, townhomes and student houses. The majority of housing development began in the 1980s, with some newer developments, both commercial and residential, taking place more recently.

Masonville offers some incredible parks and greenspace. Medway Valley Heritage Forest makes up the eastern part of the neighbourhood, filled with beautiful scenery and fantastic walking trails. The local park is Carriage Hill Park, where you can find play structures, basketball courts, walking paths, and more. The London Public Library Masonville Branch can be found directly across the street from the mall.
With its gorgeous tree-lined streets, countless amenities and easy access to the rest of the city, Masonville is the ideal location for everyone, from growing families to students.
